Ten University of Liverpool students will each receive a £1,000 Brighter Futures Grant through a partnership between the university and Santander. The grants are available to support students with rent, bills, study equipment, travel costs or everyday expenses.
Who can apply
Current University of Liverpool students aged 18 or over are eligible. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply, whether studying full-time or part-time. Applicants do not need to bank with Santander to apply.
How to apply
Students must register for Santander Open Academy, verify their email address, log in and select 'Get Started', choose University of Liverpool and complete the application. The deadline is 11:59pm on 3 December 2026.
A total of £10,000 is available exclusively to University of Liverpool students through the scheme.
