The University of Liverpool is holding a launch event to introduce students to its internship programme, which offers paid work experience placements with small and medium-sized organisations across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.
The event takes place on Wednesday 4 November from 2–3.30pm at the Central Teaching Hub. Places are limited and booking is required.
What the programme offers
Liverpool Interns provides flexible internships typically involving around 80 hours of work, with a bursary of up to £1,000. The programme is designed to help students develop practical skills, expand their professional network and enhance career prospects.
What to expect at the event
Attendees will learn how the Liverpool Interns programme works and its benefits. The University will provide application guidance and support from its Careers & Employability team. Previous interns and placement hosts will also share advice and insights.
The event is an opportunity for students to understand the recruitment process ahead of upcoming rounds, as these internships are highly competitive.
